tai-lipanI am honored to oversee the collection of Warner Sallman’s paintings at Anderson University, as they are treasures of both historic and religious significance. These images have represented and inspired hope in many individuals over the years. The influence that Warner Sallman’s paintings have had on American religious culture is evident through the many letters that the gallery has received from individuals testifying to the impact of these works on their lives. The opportunity to view many of these iconic works together in this collection allows for an experience of the powerful story that Warner Sallman had to tell through his art.
